QRchive (“the app”, “we”) is a QR-code generator. This policy explains what the app does with your information and reflects the app’s actual behaviour at the effective date above.

Summary

• QRchive works offline. It has no user accounts and no QRchive servers.
• The content you enter and the QR codes you create are processed on your device. Your QR history is stored only on your device.
• We do not operate any backend that receives or stores your data.
• The app shows ads through Google AdMob, the only third party that collects data (see “Advertising”).

QRchive does not upload, sell, or share this information.

Permissions

• Contacts — to let you pick a phone number to turn into a QR code. Read on-device only; not uploaded.
• Location — used only to read the name (SSID) of your current Wi-Fi network so it can prefill a Wi-Fi QR code. Android requires location permission to read the SSID. Your location is not tracked, stored, or shared.
• Photos — to save generated QR images to your library.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

QRchive uses Google AdMob to display ads. To serve ads, Google may collect and process data such as device and advertising identifiers, IP address, and ad interaction/usage data, and may use approximate (IP-based) location. This processing is governed by Google’s policies:

• How Google uses information from sites/apps that use its services
• Google Privacy Policy

For users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, the app presents a consent form (Google UMP) before personalized data is used for ads. You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings.

Children

QRchive is a general-utility tool and is not directed at children under 13.

Data retention & deletion

Because data stays on your device, you control it: delete individual items from History, or uninstall the app to remove all locally-stored data.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.

Quảng cáo (Google AdMob)

Ứng dụng dùng Google AdMob để hiển thị quảng cáo. Google có thể thu thập dữ liệu như mã định danh thiết bị/quảng cáo, địa chỉ IP, dữ liệu tương tác quảng cáo và vị trí gần đúng (theo IP), theo chính sách của Google. Người dùng tại EEA/UK/Thụy Sĩ sẽ thấy biểu mẫu đồng ý (Google UMP) trước khi dữ liệu được dùng cho quảng cáo cá nhân hoá.

Trẻ em

QRchive là công cụ tiện ích phổ thông, không hướng đến trẻ em dưới 13 tuổi.

Lưu trữ & xoá dữ liệu

Vì dữ liệu nằm trên thiết bị, bạn toàn quyền kiểm soát: xoá từng mục trong Lịch sử, hoặc gỡ ứng dụng để xoá toàn bộ dữ liệu cục bộ.
